Hope for Life Organization (HFLO) is a non-government and
non-political organization working dedicatedly to improve the basic
lives of people of Afghanistan. We embarked on a mission and vision to
create impact and potential sustainability by taking various
initiatives as a NGO for reproductive efforts across the nation.
We strongly believe that combined efforts of our highly experienced
and professional team, in close collaboration with our partners, would
contribute to attain the United Nations assigned millennium
development goals, specifically overcoming poverty in Afghanistan.
Also, the solid and continues support from our donors have always been
our source of hope and continued commitment providing humanitarian and
development aids for people in need in Afghanistan. We believe we can
not do the work we do without you, which is why we value your trust so
highly.
An Afghanistan where poverty has been overcome and everyone attains the rights to survival, protection, development, participation, and a dignified and healthy life.
Implement and consistently support development and humanitarian aid schemes to achieve a dignified, healthy and productive life, in collaboration with our partners, by supporting women, children and the people in need; and ensure safe, equitable and inclusive access to essential services to those in need, regardless of gender, age diversity, disability, visibility or other factors in Afghanistan.
Among the millions of people now in need across the country, we primarily target the most vulnerable include the urban poor; minority groups; those exposed to forced, multiple and often extended periods of displacement; undocumented recent returnees; children; the elderly; households headed by women; people with disabilities and marginalized ethnic groups. Conflict, poverty and repeated natural disasters have left these acutely vulnerable people with reduced ability to cope with the drought and economic collapse.
Our community-led and organized multi-sectorial approach gives the people a hand in their own development, making them active participants in coping the draught, economic crisis and shaping their own lives. With our expertise and deep understanding of local, cultural, ethnic and environmental issues, we have earned sufficient trust and respect among the communities we serve. Our local community involvement has allowed us to gain access to some of the most underserved and remote communities in Afghanistan.
Provide timely, multi-sectorial, life-saving, equitable and safe assistance to crisis-affected people of all genders and diversities to reduce mortality and morbidity. This objective focuses on the provision of urgent emergency assistances to ensure people’s survival and to prevent mortality.
Support the vulnerable people of all gender and diversities to build their future and ensure dignified and healthy life. This objective prioritizes actions to assist the most vulnerable in the community, irrespective of when, if or how they were impacted by the crisis. It recognizes the struggle faced by people in Afghanistan due to repeated displacement and their dwindling psychological and financial reserves, and the need to facilitate durable solutions where possible.
Address the protection and human rights needs for people of all genders and diversities in the local communities. This objective summarizes with the major threats to protection, human rights violations and continued violence faced by people in Afghanistan every day.
